Frequently Asked Questions

1. What kind of cookies do you make?
>>>> I make a vanilla/almond sugar cookie decorated with a vanilla royal icing.

2. Where are you located?
>>>> I bake from my home kitchen in Columbia Falls, MT. Pick-ups will take place at the house. I will send my address after your order is verified.

3. How much do you charge?
>>>> Because each set is unique, custom and requires different levels of detail, I don't have a set price for cookie orders. My base price is $60/dozen. Pricing is variable and dependent on the design details. I will send a quote after we discuss more details of your set.

4. Is your kitchen allergen free?
>>>> No, my kitchen is NOT allergen free. Please take this into consideration when considering ordering. The cookies themselves contain wheat, dairy, egg, tree nut and food coloring allergens. Other allergens are present in my kitchen space.

5. Do you make gluten free cookies?
>>>> I do not offer gluten free cookies at this time.

6. How far in advance should I order?
>>>> At a minimum, I require 1 week's notice. Ideally, orders are placed earlier than that. If you have a cookie need, I would recommend ordering sooner than later. Once my schedule is full, I will not be able to accept more orders.

7. I need some cookies last minute! Can you help?
>>>> It never hurts to ask, so feel free to reach out for last minute orders! I will do my best to accommodate if I'm able to.

8. Do you respond to emails/inquiries daily?

>>>> No, I don't. Because I am the sole baker/decorator (and need dedicated time in the kitchen), I block out time for email correspondence on Mondays and Fridays. Please don't be alarmed if I don't respond mid-week or on the weekends.

9. Do you require a minimum quantity?

>>>> Yes, I require 1 dozen cookies at minimum. However, you are not required to order in dozen increments (i.e. you can order 15 cookies or 50 cookies, etc.)

10. I have an event that is several months away. Can I submit an inquiry at any time?

>>>> It depends on the size of your order. Large orders (4 dozen cookies or more) may submit an inquiry at any time. Smaller orders (less than 4 dozen) will need to submit their inquiry according to a predetermined schedule. You may review the schedule HERE

11. What types of payment do you accept?

>>>> I currently accept cash, check, Venmo and credit card payments. Credit card charges will incur a 3% convenience fee.

12. Do you offer discounts for large orders?

>>>> No, there are no large order discounts available at this time.

 

13. Can you ship or mail cookies?

>>>> No, I unable to ship cookie orders under the Montana Cottage Food Law.
